Repeat Prescriptions

You can -

• Post your repeat prescription to us

• Drop them in the repeat-prescription box in the waiting room

• Take them to certain local dispensing chemists

• Order them via email on this website

 

You can take your repeat prescriptions to any of the Pharmacies listed below who manage a regular delivery service to the Surgery.  You will be able to collect your items from the Pharmacy within a few days without the need to come to the Surgery.

    Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be ready for collection. Periodically a Doctor will ask you to come to the Surgery to review your medication before issuing the next prescription.

     

    Please note that

    • we do not take requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone because of the risk of mistakes.
    • you cannot request medication that you have not had previously. The Doctor will need to see you before prescribing it.
     

    Test results

    If you have had a blood or urine test the result will be available in five working days.  If you ring our special results telephone number 020 8607 3924 between 3.00 pm - 5.00 pm and a Receptionist will be able to help you. If necessary the Nurse or Doctor will ask you to come in to talk about more complex results. Please note it is your responsibility to ask for the results after your Doctor has arranged a test. Always check – never assume a result is normal.
     

    Registration

    If you wish  to register with us we will ask you to prove your identity and address. If you are already a registered patient with the NHS please bring your medical card to the Surgery. If you have not previously been registered with the NHS we will ask you  a number of questions to satisfy the patient-status guidelines


    When you are registering we will ask you to complete a form about your health (available below) and also a NHS Registration form (if necessary). New patients must have a New Patient Health Screening about their medical history. If you have a preference for a particular Doctor we shall note this in your medical notes.


    Please note that we register new patients between 8.30 am - 5.30 pm on  weekdays.
