There are a number of clinical conditions that our Nursing Team can deal with, without having to book a Doctor's appointment. These minor conditions are as follows:-
Our Nurse Practitioner can prescribe medication without recourse to a Doctor. Our Health Care Assistants can check your height, weight, blood pressure, carry out your ECG or spirometry test. Before you book a Doctor’s appointment please ask if our Nursing Team can help you |

Services
The Practice provides a wide range of services, as follows:-
• Anti-Coagulation monitoring
The clinic is held every Wednesday for both registered patients and those referred from other practices.
• Baby Clinics and Developmental Checks
Routine baby clinics are held by the Health Visitors for general advice, including developmental checks held on the first floor of the Health Centre. Baby clinic checks (6 – 8 weeks) with a GP/Nurse on Wednesdays 1.30 pm – 4.00 pm
• Blood Tests
Please note that all blood samples require a booked appointment at Reception.
Clinic times are:- Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8.30 am – 11.30 am
• Cryotherapy
We hold regular clinical sessions managed by a GP.
• Lifestyle Advice
Diet & weight loss and No smoking
• Maternity Services
The Practice offers both ante-natal and post-natal care.
• Minor Surgery
There is weekly minor surgery clinic on Tuesdays managed by a GP and Health Care Assistant. We see both registered patients and those referred from other practices.
• Sexual Health (every Tuesday 4.00 pm - 7.30 pm)
Family Planning
Contraceptive advice
A walk-in clinic for registered patients where we can offer a wide range of contraception.
Fitting of Coils and Implants
By appointment for both registered patients and those referred from other practices.
Sexual Health Screening
For all ages, including Chlamydia screening, particularly those under 25 years old where it is recommended to have annual check.
